External environment of inverters

Creating a good external environment for the inverter is also very important. Although the inverter has an outdoor protection level of IP65, which can prevent dust, rain, and salt mist, its service life is longer in a clean environment than in a dirty environment. Below is a detailed introduction from the inverter manufacturer:
(1) In areas with severe pollution or high levels of dust, it is best to install the inverter in a closed enclosure, as dirt falling on the radiator can affect its function. Fine objects such as dust, leaves, and sand may also enter the inverter's air duct, which can affect heat dissipation.
(2) The power quality of the power grid can also affect the lifespan of the inverter. The voltage of the power grid is unstable and fluctuates high and low, resulting in high harmonics in the grid. The inverter will activate a protection mechanism, and if the voltage exceeds the range, it will stop operating until the voltage is normal. But frequent repeated starts can also reduce the lifespan of the inverter. In addition, the grounding, lightning protection, and insulation of DC and AC circuits of the system can also affect the lifespan of the inverter.
