Products Description
Modified Sine Wave Power Inverter
The WZRELB RBX-500W and RBX-600W are compact, cost-effective modified sine wave inverters engineered to convert 12V DC (500W model) or 12V/24V DC (600W model) into stable 110V/120V or 220V/230V AC power at up to 90% conversion efficiency. Designed for users who need reliable off-grid power for everyday electronics and standard appliances, these inverters deliver 500W or 600W of continuous output-with 1000W and 1200W peak surge capacity respectively-making them ideal for powering TVs, laptops, phone chargers, LED lighting, small fans, portable coolers, and a wide range of standard household appliances. Whether you're on an RV trip, working from a van, out on the water, or preparing for a power outage, the RBX-500W/600W puts dependable AC power right at your fingertips.
Smart LED Display & USB Port
Stay fully informed with the built-in LED display, which provides real-time monitoring of input voltage, output voltage, and current wattage-so you always know the status of your battery and the power consumption of your connected devices. The 500W/600W models also feature a convenient 2.4A/5V USB port alongside the standard AC outlet, allowing you to simultaneously charge a phone or other USB device while running a separate appliance from the AC socket. This is an ideal feature for travel, RV use, or emergency backup situations where every outlet counts.
Soft Starter Design & Powerful Output
A built-in soft starter ensures a smooth, progressive ramp-up of AC output voltage every time the inverter powers on. This eliminates harmful inrush currents and surge stress that can shorten the life of connected appliances-especially motor-driven devices such as fans and small pumps. Internally, an advanced high-frequency transformer paired with pure copper inductors delivers high-quality, stable modified sine wave output with low electromagnetic interference. The result is reliable, consistent power that protects and extends the life of your electronics and appliances.
Advanced Cooling System
The all-aluminum housing of the RBX-500W/600W functions as a continuous, full-body heat sink. A continuously operating internal cooling fan provides active airflow to prevent any localized heat accumulation, even during extended operation at or near full load. This dual passive-and-active thermal design keeps the inverter running cool and stable in hot environments, making it particularly well-suited for vehicle installations, outdoor workshops, and any scenario requiring prolonged duty cycles.
Durable & Portable for On-the-Go Use
With a compact body measuring just 6.63" × 3.82" × 2.53" (168 × 97 × 64 mm) and weighing only 1.4 lbs (0.64 kg), the RBX-500W/600W is among the most portable modified sine wave inverters in its class. It fits easily in a tool bag, under a vehicle seat, inside a boat cabin, or in a camping pack. The robust all-aluminum alloy housing provides the structural rigidity and heat resistance needed for years of reliable field use.
Note: Do not touch the inverter housing during operation, as the surface may reach elevated temperatures under full load.
Precautions

- Do not connect to the grid. The RBX-500W/600W is a standalone off-grid inverter. Never connect its AC output to a utility power grid or shore power source.
- Observe correct polarity. Connect the red cable to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black/blue cable to the negative (−) terminal. Reverse polarity will blow the internal protective fuse. This type of damage is not covered under warranty.
- Do not overload. Ensure the total rated wattage of all connected appliances does not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating (500W or 600W). For best long-term reliability, operate within 80% of rated capacity.
- For inductive loads (fans, small pumps, compressors), the startup current can be 3–7× the device's rated power. Verify that the startup wattage is within the inverter's peak surge capacity (1000W for 500W model; 1200W for 600W model).
- Power on sequence: Turn the inverter ON first, then turn on your appliances. When finished, turn appliances off first, then turn the inverter OFF. Due to the soft-start function, output may take a moment to stabilize at switch-on.
- Red LED alarm / flashing indicator means input voltage is out of the normal operating range (too high or too low). Check battery state of charge and inspect all cable connections.
- Use properly rated cables. At 500W on a 12V system, the DC input current draw is approximately 45–50A. At 600W on a 12V system, it is approximately 55–60A. Use a minimum AWG 8 (8 mm²) cable for the 500W and a minimum AWG 8 (8 mm²) for the 600W, keeping runs as short as possible.
- Provide adequate ventilation. Leave at least 5 cm (2 inches) of clearance on all sides of the inverter. Do not place the unit inside a fully enclosed box or cover the ventilation openings.
- No direct connection to solar panels. Always connect the inverter to a fully charged battery or battery bank. If used in a solar system, connect the inverter to the battery terminals-not to the solar charge controller output.
- Avoid flammable environments. Do not use this inverter in the presence of gasoline vapors, propane gas, or other flammable substances.
This modified sine wave inverter combines durability, efficiency, and practical features, making it an excellent value-for-money power solution for everyday off-grid and mobile power needs.

Attentions for Resistive Load Applications
For resistive loads such as laptops, LED TVs, phone chargers, LED lights, and electric kettles, choose an inverter with a continuous power rating higher than the appliance's rated wattage. For the RBX-500W, run appliances rated at 500W or below; for the RBX-600W, run appliances rated at 600W or below. For optimal component longevity, it is best practice to operate within 80% of the rated continuous power-i.e., below 400W for the 500W model and below 480W for the 600W model.
Attentions for Inductive Load Applications
For appliances with electric motors or compressors-such as portable fans, small air compressors, water pumps, and power tools-startup (inrush) current can be 3–7× the device's steady-state rated power. Before connecting, verify that the device's startup wattage does not exceed the inverter's peak surge capacity (1000W for the RBX-500W; 1200W for the RBX-600W). Check the device's nameplate or manual for its exact starting wattage. If you are unsure, contact our technical support team for guidance before connecting.
