Mr Cotto choose to use our 3000W 12VDC pure sine wave inverter with four 6 volt battery's (trace 235) wired in series 4 gauge wire to make 12v DC. Also he installed 2 mppt controllers' 40amp each. One of the mppt controllers has 2100w monocrystalline panels in series the other mppt controller has 2 panels polycrystalline also wired in series a total of 470w. It works like a charm.

Mr Cotto was very satisfied with the Inverter. He ran a refrigerator ,10 led lights 9w each and also a TV set at the same time ,all worked well after the big storm Maria in Puerto Rico. The vast majority of the refrigerator's power consumption takes place in the compressor, .compressors are inductive in nature and would be a hard load on the inverter, so if choose the inverter to run the similar inductive appliance , the watts of inverter are approximately 3-7 times or even ten times higher than the rated power of the appliances.
It's a good choice to using off-grid systems to provide power. By this way, not only can you get the power you need, but also will not waste energy, so that it can improve the efficiency of the use of energy.
